Thanks so much for taking the time to visit this page with my work.
Today I'm voiding the $25 price of my Gallery Quality Giclee Limited Edition 8x8 Inch Art Prints and asking you to simply pay for the shipping and handling.
This offer is part of a vision I am calling "The Blue Remedy Initiative", to help bring balance and Aloha Spirit into the lives of as many people as I can. I keep imagining people seeing an image I "channeled" hanging on their wall, giving them a calm feeling and I think "YES! That is me doing what I came here to do!"
There are 3 different paintings to choose from.
Why am I giving them away just for the cost of shipping and packaging?
Let me explain...
There are two reasons why I am trying this as a promotion:
FIRST and foremost
I think the world is suffering from a broken heart and my Hawai'ian ancestors believed that being surrounded by ART (or anything that we find beautiful) has the power to heal us with the “Mana” or spiritual energy it provides. I really want my work in the homes or offices of people who feel a spiritual connection to these paintings. This is the Yin reason.
Giving my work away not only helps me to spread my message of mindfulness and well-being but who knows, one day you may come back to me asking for a larger print, or maybe even an original piece. This is the Yang reason.
There is zero pressure for you to buy anything from me but I come from a balance of masculine and feminine energy when I put my intentions out into the world.
Below this letter, I've laid out 3 watercolors from my 'Blue Remedy' series offering one for free (only 1 per person please.)
(Note: if you WANT to add something above the S&H fee for my daughter Maitreya's college fund you can but I am not expecting it.)
I fully guarantee you'll love what you receive and will look at the print and get a feeling of calm and wellbeing or I'll refund what you paid, in full & you can keep the print anyway!
I love, love, love painting in this way, so I want you to love what you receive just as much as I loved making it - that's why offering this guarantee makes sense to me.
So this truly is a zero-risk offer. (Just a calming piece of art for you to try!)
My vision is that you'll love what you receive and this will be the beginning of a great relationship for us for years to come.
If you have any questions, you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Mahalo for taking the time to read this, I can't wait to get your new piece of art to you.
Summary! (if you like skipping to the end),
1. You get an 8"x8" print of one of my watercolor paintings for free (you choose which one out of the 3 available.)
2. All you have to pay is $9 for shipping and handling to ensure it arrives in good time and good condition (add more ONLY if you feel moved to).
3. Receive your art print within 14 days.
4. If you're not happy with what you receive, let me know and I'll refund you the fee you paid and you can keep the print anyway as a thank you for your time.
“The palette of this series is the colors of the seas, especially from Hawai'i. As I connect deeper with my Hawaiian ancestors, I feel a big call to the blues and the greens of the oceans. I find that to be the medicine I need now, the blue healing remedy.”

Doug Motel started exhibiting his paintings at age 12 (lying about his age in order to show his work.) At 18 he decided to focus on writing and acting. Known for his award-winning work in the theatre, Doug Motel has built a following for his solo plays where he plays a multitude of characters. All of his plays have the same theme: the power of a simple shift in perspective.
During the pandemic of 2020, he returned to his first love: painting.
After reconnecting with his Hawaiian roots and family on Ohau, he began painting watercolors that express his take on the “Aloha Spirit”. Using the blues and greens of the ocean, he paints nonrepresentational abstracts on plexiglass, acrylic resin molds, and canvas.
In addition to making art, he is the founder of The Nowist Society which presents events designed to help participants emerge their focus fully into the present moment and he is the host of the Art Spirit Sunday podcast which offers thoughts and suggestions on spirituality for creative people.
